Overall, “Justified” is not THAT bad for a first attempt. But sixty minutes of it will make you cringe. Three minutes of that screechy voice is bearable. The single “Like I Love You” is the first track on the album. “I just want to love you…I saw your tears…I saw your brown eyes…love your green eyes…let me be your blue sky…” Get it? The lyrics have as much depth as a pile of urine. After hearing these clips, that is nothing to be proud of. Justin enjoys telling the media he co-wrote every song on the album. There’s nothing new or different about that. And Timbaland just recycled beats he used with Aaliyah and Genuine. On “Justified” it’s the same sound on every song. There sound is easily recognizable, not a good thing as a producer. Today when you turn on the radio, within the first 5 seconds you can say with confidence that you know that song was or was not done by the Neptunes. The beats on “Justified” are extremely redundant. However, the whole time you’re listening to each clip on this album, you’re hoping that the next clip is better. I went to and heard clips of the eleven songs on Justin Timberlake’s solo album “Justified.” This is my brief personal review of it.
